One of our favorite traditions is watching as many Christmas movies as possible throughout the holiday season. There’s something so fun about snuggling up on the couch with your family and watching a snow filled Christmas movie. If you’re looking to create a fun and festive memory with your family this Christmas, then be sure to pencil in a family movie night. This year I created a darling Christmas Family Movie Night Invitation to make our movie night feel a little more special. I’m sharing the free download with you so you can invite your kiddos to your own movie night!
I’ve also teamed up with my friend Ashley with Veggies and Virtue to help you create the perfect family movie night this Christmas. She’s sharing several helpful tips, snack ideas, and the cutest snack caddy so be sure to hop on over and check it all out!
To make things a little more fun I created an invitation basket to surprise the girls with. First I grabbed a basket from our house and placed tissue paper on the bottom. Then I added the girls Christmas pajamas, placed a couple of treats in baggies, and added the cute invitation to the top. It was so easy to put together with things we already had in our house!
I often underestimate the power of the little things. It’s often the littlest things that can make our kiddos feel extra special. Think about how you feel when you receive an invitation to something. You feel pretty amazing and seen, right? So while it’s not necessary to print off an invitation and actually invite your kiddos to the movie it’s definitely a fun little touch that makes the night feel extra special.
I love the invitation because it can easily be personalized for whatever movie your family loves. Simply print it off, add your movie night details, and surprise your kiddo(s). You can download the FREE Printable Christmas Family Movie Night Invitation below:
So…what are you waiting for?! Go print out an invitation, put on your coziest pajamas, and get ready to create some precious memories with your family. Be sure to check out these tips from Veggies and Virtue to create the perfect family movie night this Christmas! Isn’t the snack caddy Ashley created absolutely adorable?
Remember that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be special. Popcorn will probably be spilled, your kiddo(s) might not sit down and watch the whole movie, and it might not go exactly how you pictured it in your head. Take a deep breath and savor the intentional time together, sweet friend. Happy memory making!
