While I am always looking for ways to be more intentional about bringing Jesus into our day to day family conversations and activities, I love that we have this season set aside to remember the incredible sacrifice that was made for us. This might go without saying, but I’m going to say it anyways because I’m preaching to myself here. Please please please don’t feel like you need to do all the things this Easter season. Easter is not about doing. It’s not about checking off a list of crafts, activities, and snacks. It’s not about picking the right books or creating the perfect Easter basket. Can those be good things that point our kids to Jesus? YES! But let’s not get so caught up in doing (even the good things) that we completely miss Christ. Easter is about Jesus rescuing us from sin and death and what an incredible gift that is, sweet friends!
I sincerely hope that you and your family have an amazing couple of weeks leading up to Easter as you focus on the incredible hope, life, and victory we have access to because of Jesus.
